A collection of photographs and experiences among the haunting beauty of the Lancashire wetlands
The book sets out to convey the deep connections these Meres - shallow, peaty bodies of water and surrounding wetlands have on my soul. Searching for lost connections to places that were once expansive habitats stretching far and wide, but now only remain as fragmentary relics of a time long since lost from human memory.
These places feel innately magical and otherworldly. Throughout the book I share the experiences of finding comfort in the solitude among the reedbeds that blur the boundary between land and water.
